Abstract
Early at the beginning of the last century, people produced the first horror movie, and many of them until now. Hundreds of horror movies are produced worldwide each year. People are so fascinated with horror movies and never get bored throughout all these years. However, they might not know why they enjoy horror movies so much. As a result, individuals' emotional change towards horror movies is interesting to examine in the psychological field.
About myself
I am a person who likes horror movies. I noticed this topic by browsing through some horror movies. Along with my understanding of this type of movie, which significantly related to the audience’s emotional reactions, I realized that the science behind the horror could be an insightful and rewarding aspect to research deeper.
